Protein Balls – Protein ball recipes are perfect for when you want a healthy snack that’s packed full of healthy goodness. They are fantastic as an energy-booster and best of all they are good for you too.
Ingredients:
- 3 cups dates
- 4 scoops whey protein powder (choc taste even better)
- 1/4 cup carob chips
- 1 1/2 cup almonds
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 2/3 – 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes for decoration
Steps:
- Combine dates, whey protein powder, carob chips, almonds and cocoa powder & warm water in a food processor
- Shape into bite size balls
- Roll in coconut flakes
- Serve and eat
- Store in air tight container to prolong edible shelf life 🙂
