Protein Balls – Protein ball recipes are perfect for when you want a healthy snack that’s packed full of healthy goodness. They are fantastic as an energy-booster and best of all they are good for you too.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups dates
  • 4 scoops whey protein powder (choc taste even better)
  • 1/4 cup carob chips
  • 1 1/2 cup almonds
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 2/3 – 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes for decoration

Steps:

  1. Combine dates, whey protein powder, carob chips, almonds and cocoa powder & warm water in a food processor
  2. Shape into bite size balls
  3. Roll in coconut flakes
  4. Serve and eat
  5. Store in air tight container to prolong edible shelf life 🙂
