Understanding Elbow & Wrist Pain
PROHEALTH PHYSIO & FITNESS understands how frustrating elbow and wrist related injuries and pains can be.
The elbow and wrist are common sites of overuse for many workers, whether you’re desk bound or labouring. It is also common in gym goers, racquet sports & golfers with prolonged gripping.
Other types of elbow and hand injuries occur due to acute trauma; like a fall on an outstretched hand, causing ligament sprains or even fractures of the wrist, forearm or elbow!
The most important step in overuse conditions is early intervention. Leaving overuse injuries untreated can cause them to persist and be stubborn with treatment.
Guided by an extensive assessment, your PROHEALTH physiotherapist will provide you with a comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation plan, designed to help you achieve your goals in the shortest possible time frame.
