Women’s Health Week – Although Australia boasts a top-ranked health system, women’s overall health still lags.

- 37% of women have experienced violence after they turned 15 years of age

The focus of Women’s Health Week is to remind all women to take the time for themselves and make their health a priority. In the hectic lives of the modern world, many women don’t feel that they have the time to sustain a healthy lifestyle. While it is positive to see that most women over the age of 15 do make time to see their doctor when they have any health concerns, Women’s Health Week reminds us that giving more focus to ourselves on a daily basis can go a long way to impact our overall health.
