Asthma is a chronic medical condition that affects the airways, making it hard for those with asthma to breathe. There are many factors that can trigger asthma, such as, physical activity, cold air, air pollutants, strong emotions, stress and much more. People with asthma may experience a shortness of breath, chest tightness or pain, coughing or wheezing and trouble sleeping when asthma is triggered.

Understanding Asthma – Unfortunately, there is no cure for asthma, however, it can usually be controlled. There are many ways to keep asthma at bay, this can include taking medicine, regular visits to the doctor for check-ups and an action plan so that asthma victims know exactly what to do when symptoms begin to occur.
