Not all physios are created equally. You know you can visit a physio clinic, yet we also can provide onsite or mobile physio.

Onsite & Mobile Physio – When an employee injures themselves at work it costs a company a lot of time and money to cover the medical expenses, loss of productivity and the cost to employee a casual worker to cover the injured employees work load. Similarly some people who are inured are unable to visit a clinic or would prefer physio treatment in the privacy of their home.

We are able to provide both onsite & mobile physio services.

Onsite (Work) Physio – When an employee injures themselves at work it costs a company a lot of time and money to cover the medical expenses, loss of productivity and the cost to employee a casual worker to cover the injured employees work load. There is a way to minimise the cost of an injured employee by having an onsite physiotherapist. An onsite physiotherapist is a physiotherapist that comes to your worksite to treat injured employees instead of the employee having to go through the hassle of travelling to them.

Onsite physiotherapists provide immediate help to any employee with work or non-work-related injuries, onsite physiotherapists can assess and treat injuries faster because they are able to see exactly where the injury took place and how the employee injured themselves. The faster the assessment the faster the treatment which means the employee can get back to their regular work duties a lot faster. Having an onsite physiotherapist makes communicating between the employee physiotherapist and supervisor/management much easier because everyone is in the same spot and can communicate as soon as treatment finishes.

Having onsite physiotherapists also benefits the treatment process because instead of completing exercises in a clinic the injured employee can participate in exercises that are going to be relevant in getting them back into their regular workload e.g. a garbage disposal employee instead of walking up stairs at a clinic at the worksite they could practice stepping up onto the truck.

Having onsite physiotherapists doesn’t just benefit injured employees the whole faculty, they are able to help short out any ‘niggles’ before they become major injuries that would limit their productivity at work. Having a physiotherapist onsite helps to prevent injuries before they occur meaning that there are overall less injuries saving the company a lot of time and money. The onsite physiotherapists can educate the employees on how to remain safe whist taking part in their regular work activities and how to avoid injuries.

Mobile (Home) Physio – At times people are unable to either make the journey to a clinic or would be more comfortable receiving personalised service in comfort of their own home. Although this service can cost more the benefits for some can be much greater. To discuss mobile physio, please contact our friendly team.
