Tania Acitelli is a passionate health professional who holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy. Tania is an experienced clinician who has worked closely with personal injury and work-related injuries throughout the duration of her career. Tania is passionate about prevention of injuries and educating people about maintaining their health and physical function. From a very young age Michael has been involved in the fitness and health industry. His passion stemmed from the many years of professional swimming and competing where he was consistently visiting physiotherapists due to injuries. Being the patient for so long, Michael understands what it is like to be on the treatment table. After many years of elite training, Michael decided to hang up his goggles and dedicate his career to helping others; the way that many had helped him. His journey began with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science at the Australian Catholic University and he then completed a Masters of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney. Michael believes that the key to success is hard work, perseverance and loving what you do. Michael has a keen interest in using evidence-based research to develop new techniques and ideas to treat patients. He uses a combination of specific techniques to target conditions, such as nerve gliding, joint mobilisations, taping for correct movement, ultrasound therapy for acute and chronic conditions and specific strength training. Jay has always been interested in Exercise Physiology playing competitive soccer and golf whilst growing up. Jay's father was diagnosed with a spinal tumour and unfortunately surgery resulted in Jay's father becoming a tetraplegic (as known as a quadriplegic). This resulted in a lengthy rehabilitation process and one that motivated Jay to firstly undertake Bachelor of Health Science (Sport & Exercise Science) and subsequently complete his Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology. After providing full time care for his father during the rehabilitation process, Jay was thrilled to see his father make a recovery to a point where his father's quality of life was sustainable. Since then Jay's caring and passionate approach provides patients with effective treatment to enhance the quality of life, achievement of health & fitness related goals. Daniel is the newest PROHEALTH PHYSIO team member. After competing at high levels for athletics, cricket & soccer, Daniel leverages his experience to deliver sustainable results. To get to know Daniel the person, the physio & his interests. Being an athlete himself, Daniel has always been in and out of physiotherapy clinics with sport related injuries. This, in conjunction with his mother’s diagnosis of severe scoliosis, inspired him to become a physiotherapist. Daniel completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Australian Catholic University (ACU) and has exposure treating a variety of injuries. Daniel is also passionate about health and fitness. He is a qualified personal trainer and has a wealth of knowledge around creating comprehensive exercise programs for clients to achieve their fitness goals.Read More
